About The Position

The Student Employee assists with the daily operations of the University Health Club and maintains knowledge of its programs and services. The position is located at the OU Health Campus / Oklahoma City Campus. The employee is expected to perform most duties independently and in accordance with established policies and procedures. The schedule is flexible, but the employee must be available on Saturdays and Sundays. Travel may be required.

Requirements

• Be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at the University of Oklahoma for the Fall 2026 Term; employment is contingent upon verification of current student status.
• Attach a Fall 2026 OU class schedule.
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills when interacting with students, employees, members, and the public.
• Have life guarding or swimming experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls and direct them appropriately.
• Greet and assist members and visitors.
• Monitor the front desk, swimming pool, and other facility areas.
• Help maintain the facility's appearance and cleanliness.
