About The Position

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has a unique combination of education, research, and clinical programs that encourages and supports teamwork and diversity. This Student Employee position provides various research and support functions within UAMS, operating at the discretion of the Dean, Department Chairman, or faculty member. The role involves assisting with research activities, data analysis, and supporting the Arkansas Poison Control Center, a 24/7 call center environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with research activities including the collection, preparation, and analysis of data for project proposals and ongoing studies.
• Support the analysis and organization of collected research data to ensure accuracy and usability.
• Serve as a student worker within the Arkansas Poison Control Center, a 24/7 call center environment.
• Provide coverage during nights, weekends, holidays, and staff absences to support continuous operations.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while assisting in a high-volume, fast-paced call center setting.
