About The Position

Under direct supervision, provides accurate and timely solutions to end user computer and networking problems. Performs restorative and maintenance actions either remotely or at the end user’s location to resolve problems, using basic troubleshooting and technical skills. Responds to situations where standard procedures have failed in isolating or fixing problem equipment, software installations, or configuration changes.

Requirements

  • Junior or Senior in High School.
  • Must be 16 years of age prior to start date.
  • Interest in a career in IT.
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Completed coursework in Information Technology classes preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Will work with current IT employees in the proper installation of new workstations and peripherals.
  • Learn and help with configurations of new workstations and peripherals, utilizing remote software or on-site visits.
  • Learn the proper way to install Windows Operating software and other software applicable to the departmental requirements.
  • Learn and participate in IT Help Desk Support by answering phones and helping document work in progress using call tracking software.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
