About The Position
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Student Employee to support the Arkansas Poison Control Center, a 24/7 call center. This opportunity allows you to contribute to essential operations while gaining experience in a healthcare setting. The student worker will be working in the AR Poison Control Center to help cover nights, weekends, holidays, and vacations in a 24/7 call center.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in the UAMS College of Pharmacy or another college program.
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
Responsibilities
- Support call center operations by helping to provide coverage during nights, weekends, holidays, and staff vacations.
- Perform research and support functions under the direction of the Dean, Department Chair, or a faculty member.
- Assist with the collection, preparation, and analysis of data for project proposals.
- Analyze collected research data and provide additional project support as assigned.
