The Student Development Specialist II is a passionate mentor, strategist, and relationship-builder dedicated to enriching the Aggie experience through leadership development, student engagement, and cherished university traditions. Serving as a key member of the Development and Events team, this role guides Class Councils and Fish Council in creating meaningful programs that foster class unity, strengthen school spirit, and connect generations of Aggies through signature traditions. Blending student advising with event management and organizational leadership, the position empowers students to grow as impactful leaders while ensuring the successful execution of programs and initiatives. With a talent for collaboration, a commitment to student success, and an appreciation for the traditions that define Texas A&M, the Student Development Specialist II also supports donor engagement efforts through elevated events and stewardship activities that advance the department’s mission and cultivate a lasting culture of belonging, leadership, and service.
