About The Position

This posting is for all internship/co-op positions in Toledo, OH. After submitting your application, you may receive a screening questionnaire where you can indicate additional preferences. Possible placement may include the following majors: Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Accounting & Finance, Supply Chain Management/Logistics. The application deadline for this position is October 17th, 2026. Students moving for their work term may be eligible to receive a lump sum relocation payment to assist with relocation expenses. Candidates must have their own means of transportation as there is no public transportation in field locations. New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa).
  • Available to begin work in January 2027.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Solid analytical and Microsoft Suite skills, specifically Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal, judgement, and decision-making skills.
  • Must be enrolled at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term.
  • Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze process, environmental, and safety data to support performance improvements
  • Assist with process monitoring, troubleshooting, and engineering projects
  • Support EH&S and process safety compliance through audits and documentation
  • Collaborate with teams to support operations, reporting, and continuous improvement
  • Support equipment reliability through inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance planning
  • Assist with equipment design, repairs, modifications, and capital projects
  • Analyze operational and maintenance data to improve asset performance
  • Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and vendors to execute projects safely and efficiently
  • Support electrical and control system reliability through testing and troubleshooting
  • Assist with the design, installation, and upgrade of electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Collect and analyze data to support system performance and maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to execute projects and field support
  • Support accounting and financial reporting activities using SAP and other systems
  • Assist with month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
  • Use Excel and analytical tools to develop reports and identify trends
  • Provide financial insights to support business decisions and performance evaluation
  • Support procurement, sourcing, and contract management activities
  • Analyze supply chain and inventory data to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Assist with inventory control, material planning, and procure-to-pay processes
  • Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to support projects and business objectives
