About The Position
Crown Equipment Corporation, a global leader in lift truck manufacturing, is seeking a Student Co-op or Intern for their Service Technician role. This paid internship offers hands-on experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing Crown and other makes of lift trucks. Interns will also perform planned maintenance, process job completion paperwork, and participate in training activities. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals pursuing a technical degree to gain practical skills in the material handling industry.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Working toward a technical degree.
- Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes.
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines.
- Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
- Ability to safely operate lift trucks.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not provided for this position.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
- Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
- Process paperwork after completion of each job.
- Participate in training activities.
