About The Position
This is a state-certified CNA training program designed to prepare students for a career in healthcare. The course is fast-paced and lasts for 18 days, requiring full attendance with no absences or tardies. Students must achieve a minimum grade of 80 to remain enrolled. Upon successful completion and based on availability and teacher recommendation, job opportunities may be available at NHC Greenville, where CNAs start at $16.50 per hour.
Requirements
- Bring valid photo identification to the pre-test.
- Bring Social Security card to the pre-test.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Pass a review of the South Carolina and/or National Abuse Registry for Children and Adults.
- No felony convictions.
- No certain misdemeanor charges.
- Not be listed on an abuse registry.
- No absences or tardies allowed during the 18-day program.
- Maintain a minimum grade of 80 to remain enrolled.
- Provide own scrubs before clinicals.
- No facial piercings (except earrings for female students).
- Provide own school supplies.
