Mannes Percussion, Student Assistant Specialist
About The Position
The Mannes School of Music at the College of Performing Arts seeks a highly motivated student to serve as Mannes Percussion, Student Assistant. We’re seeking an organized, driven, and responsible individual to support percussion-related activities within the Mannes School of Music & Production - Large Ensemble Area. This position reports to the Program and Administration Manager, Mannes School of Music and is an ideal position for students who are interested in a career in orchestral percussion, non-profit, higher education administration, or performing arts production. This position is open to student applicants with Federal Work Study awards, as well as student applicants without a Federal Work Study award.
Requirements
- Current Percussion student in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of UG study or MM / PDPL
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Organize Mannes Percussion Equipment
- Assist with the management of Percussion equipment
- Assist with the management of Percussion Practice Space
- Basic Percussion Maintenance
- Support the Program and Administration Manager, Mannes School of Music and Large Ensemble as needed
- Assist with percussion specific set up and break down for rehearsals
- Other additional duties as assigned
