Student Assistant-Photo & Video Production Assistant
About The Position
The Photo & Video Production Assistant creates photography, video, and digital content supporting Housing & Residential Education’s marketing, communication, and training initiatives. The role focuses on independently capturing and editing content for events, promotional projects, social media, and other departmental needs. Working under the direction of the Multimedia Developer, assistants are expected to manage assigned work with limited supervision, make creative and technical decisions in the field, and lead smaller-scale projects when appropriate. This is a hands-on role for students with foundational photography and/or video production experience who are dependable, creative, and comfortable working independently.
