The Equipment Checkout team at Moody College plays a vital role in supporting students, faculty, and staff by managing the reservation, preparation, and return of media production equipment. We ensure users have access to reliable, well-maintained equipment and a smooth checkout experience, enabling successful academic and creative work. This position assists in maintaining daily functions in Moody College Equipment Checkout.

Responsibilities

  • Provide front-desk support, including greeting, answering calls, and assisting with general inquiries.
  • Preparing and staging equipment reservations for pickup and supporting patrons.
  • Check in returned equipment by verifying contents, cleanliness, and basic functionality.
  • Accurately document checkouts and returns, following established procedures and workflows.
  • Maintain clean, organized equipment storage areas and return items to proper locations.
  • Help perform daily opening and closing tasks.
  • Assist with inventory counts and submitting equipment problem tickets as needed.
  • Support general operational needs and completing projects assigned by full-time staff.
