About The Position

The Office of Alumni Engagement at Phillips Academy seeks multiple current students and recent PA graduates for pre-reunion weekend and reunion weekend workers. Pre-reunion work will include assembling registration materials for attendees (preparing name tags, Andover swag, yearbooks etc.), signage printing and placement, room and tent set-up, dorm room preparations (cleaning and making beds), and other event prep tasks as needed. This position does not offer housing. Reunion Weekend itself begins on Thursday and runs through early -afternoon on Sunday. Tasks during the event include Greeting alumni and guests. Working at the registration and information services desks (including app download and assistance). Campus tours. Guiding guests to the correct dorms. Greeters outside of Back to the Classroom sessions. Gathering groups for class photos. Open house tours of the Addison. Delivering materials as needed (serving as a "runner"). Setting up spaces for individual class events and activities. Helping with miscellaneous tasks throughout campus Successful candidates: Will be available to work Tuesday, June 2 – Sunday, June 7, 2026. While there is flexibility on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, please do not apply if you are unable to commit to working each day, Friday through Sunday. Work hours Tuesday through Thursday are 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday will have an early and late shift based on event staffing needs and we will do our best to accommodate shift requests. Will possess a friendly and helpful demeanor and will work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Have an ability to interact with and speak confidently with a wide variety of alumni and guests. Physical labor is required at times throughout the week. Basic knowledge of administrative office tasks is a plus. Tour guide experience is a plus, please include in your application. Must be 16 years old by June 1, 2026. Those over 18 may be eligible to drive guests in a golf cart pending a clean driving record and passing the brief, required golf cart driving course that week. To start working background checks will need to be completed (fingerprinting, CORI/SORI, MA Minor work permit, ADP RMV). Instructions will be provided for background checks and fingerprinting costs will be reimbursed with provided receipts.
