Student Analyst - ABA Therapy
About The Position
Action Behavior Centers is seeking a Behavior Analyst in Training for its Rising Stars program, designed for Behavior Technicians or Registered Behavior Technicians accruing supervision hours. This master’s-level ABA therapy practicum supports a path toward becoming a BCBA, with a competitive BCBA salary available upon passing the exam. The role provides early intervention therapy to children ages 18 months to 8 years in a center-based setting. The position pays $24–$30 per hour based on experience and completion of supervision hours. Full-time teammates are guaranteed a minimum of 32–40 hours per week, including when patient cancellations occur. The program includes no-cost supervision hours and allocates eight hours per week off the direct-care schedule for BDS modules. The employee is expected to sit for the BACB exam within six months of joining.
Requirements
- Have accrued 85% of fieldwork hours (1,700 of 2,000 hours).
- Have completed all restricted hours.
- Provide proof of enrollment in an accredited, applicable master’s program.
- Be a Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician accruing supervision hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide early intervention therapy in a center-based setting.
- Work with children ages 18 months to 8 years.
- Collect data and implement individualized treatment plans for each child.
- Collaborate with BCBAs and other team members.
- Use eight hours per week outside the direct-care schedule to work on BDS modules.
- Sit for the BACB exam within six months of joining the team.
