About The Position

Action Behavior Centers is seeking a Behavior Analyst in Training for its Rising Stars program. The role is designed for a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) accruing supervision hours and enrolled in an applicable accredited master's program. The position provides early intervention therapy to children ages 18 months to 8 years in a center-based setting while supporting the candidate's progress toward becoming a BCBA.

The position pays $24–$30 per hour, based on experience and supervision-hour completion. Full-time teammates are guaranteed a minimum of 32–40 hours per week, regardless of patient cancellations. The posting describes a path to becoming a BCBA, with a competitive BCBA salary upon passing the exam.

Requirements

• Be a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) accruing supervision hours.
• Have accrued 85% of fieldwork hours (1,700 of 2,000 hours).
• Have completed all restricted hours.
• Provide proof of enrollment in an accredited, applicable master's program.

Responsibilities

• Provide early intervention therapy in a center-based setting.
• Work with children ages 18 months to 8 years.
• Collect data and implement individualized treatment plans for each child.
• Collaborate with BCBAs and team members.
• Allocate 8 hours per week outside the direct-care schedule to work on BDS modules.
• Sit for the BACB exam within 6 months of joining the team.
