About The Position

This position assists with recruiting endeavors for the College of Arts and Sciences, supports their home department with managerial tasks, and serves on the College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Undergraduate Advisory Committee. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and phone call communications
• Majoring or minoring in an A&S degree program

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of multiple A&S departments on campus

Responsibilities

• Make phone calls to prospective students.
• Write post cards to students who have begun the UW application process.
• Assist with on campus recruiting events including but not limited to Saddle Up, Campus Pass, Discovery Days, and New Student Days.
• Tabling at events and providing information about the College to prospective students and their families.
• Ensuring that all information is accurate and confirming with the Recruiting Coordinator if there is uncertainty.
• Comfort working in complex, fluid work environments and reporting to multiple people.
• Aid departments with their day-to-day operations.
