About The Position

The Department of Mathematics & Statistics is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach specific Math & Stat courses. This role involves teaching a contractual load of courses, assigning and submitting grades, keeping office hours, providing enrollment data, staying current in the discipline, conferring with the Department Head/School Director on curriculum and instruction, and performing related departmental duties.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mathematics or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Teach contractual load of courses as assigned by the department or school.
• Assign and submit grades in accordance with established University schedules.
• Keep posted office hours during the week which are scheduled at times most beneficial to students.
• Provide enrollment data and such other information as corrected class lists, etc. as may be required by the University.
• Engage in pursuits that enable them to remain current in their respective disciplines.
• Confer periodically with the Department Head/School Director on curriculum and instruction issues.
• Provide other support service to the department, school and/or university, if applicable.
• Perform related departmental duties as required.
