About The Position

The Augsburg AI Fellowship hires a small cohort of Augsburg students to serve as thought leaders and change-makers on artificial intelligence at the University. Fellows advise campus leadership on AI in higher education, develop educational resources for peers, and present their work at the Spring 2027 AI Symposium. Over the academic year, fellows build expertise in AI ethics, literacy, and civil discourse. They attend eight 90-minute cohort conversations on the fellowship and AI topics relevant to the Augsburg community; design and carry out a project or resource about AI; select and work with a Project Mentor; contribute to planning the Spring 2027 AI Symposium; and present their project at the symposium. The position pays $16.45 per hour. Student employees receive Minnesota Sick and Safe Time and Minnesota Paid Family and Medical Leave, and are not eligible for health insurance benefits. Applicants must attach a resume; a cover letter is optional.
