About The Position

Supports and assists the Executive Officer Assistant with general office procedures and duties.

Requirements

  • Ability to sort, file, and process mail. Ability to perform many projects involving alphabetizing.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to faculty, students, staff, and the public.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively by phone, in person, and electronically.
  • Ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to use a phone, fax, and copy machine.
  • Ability to run errands around campus.
  • Ability to use common sense and exercise judgment to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to operate a computer and general knowledge of Windows programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to communicate information accurately and effectively regarding campus events and departments.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
  • Must be a regular, full-time student, enrolled in at least 12 hours per semester
  • Must have a completed FAFSA on file with Financial Aid for the current academic year

Responsibilities

  • Assists Executive Officer Assistant in booking FSC rooms & logging information in Master Calendar.
  • Answers phone, routes calls, and takes messages. Provides information to visitors, students, faculty, and staff.
  • Coordinates Findlay Student Center mailroom by sorting and distributing incoming mail for FSC offices.
  • Filing, Copying, and other general office tasks as directed.
  • Assist with the processing of confidential health information.
