About The Position

Morgan Stanley’s Fixed Income Division is seeking a municipal securities structuring professional at the Vice President or Executive Director level. Municipal Securities Structuring is a team of experienced municipal market professionals providing marketing and execution services to borrower and investor clients. The group works across origination, underwriting, and market making. This role focuses on designing and marketing structured transactions for clients and internal stakeholders, using a range of cash and derivative products.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in a structured finance or fixed income role.
• Comfort with cash and derivative products.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Curiosity, inquisitiveness, collaboration, attention to detail, analytical ability, self-starting initiative, and a team-oriented approach.
• Eagerness to use new technologies, data, and automation to enhance traditional job functions.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical, quantitative, and operational support needed to execute bespoke structured transactions.
• Work with the salesforce to identify client needs and design structures to meet those needs.
• Develop and maintain marketing materials for existing and new product offerings.
• Collaborate with other Morgan Stanley desks and external parties to support structuring activities.
