About The Position

Come join the Bell Piney Flats Aircraft Services Customization team and help ensure best in class service to our customers. In this position, you’ll be an integral part of the team, performing a variety of tasks such as aircraft installations, inspections, fabrication, and modification, all in accordance with applicable data and customer specifications.

Requirements

2+ years’ experience as an aircraft mechanic; must include structures experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Must provide own tools.
Ability to perform job duties, including basic measuring, drilling, and fabrication tasks.
Ability to work from detailed documents, technical manuals, and blueprints.
Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment with strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Nice To Haves

FAA A&P Certificate is preferred.
Maintenance experience on Bell commercial models and/or Bell field maintenance courses preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform disassembly and reassembly of aircraft, scheduled inspections, and Alert Service Bulletins.
Perform major and minor repairs and alterations to the aircraft structure, including sheet metal and composite repairs and fabrications.
Fabricate mounting brackets, and measure, drill, and modify aircraft structures without causing damage to structure or underlying components.
Document all work accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
Work overtime as required.
