About The Position

Divergent is seeking a skilled and motivated engineer to support the next generation of aerospace vehicle development. The role supports structural engineering and product development activities across aerospace programs, contributing to design, analysis, and testing efforts. The engineer will help advance structural systems using new materials and technologies, including Divergent’s DAPS manufacturing platform, which combines 3D-printed metal Nodes™ with lightweight materials to create strong, efficient structures.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of structural engineering experience.
• CAD experience.
• Familiarity with FEA tools and aerospace structures.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Siemens NX experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain CAD models, FE models, and engineering documentation.
• Support structural analysis and validation activities.
• Assist with prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and design teams.
• Support engineering change implementation and product development efforts.
