About The Position

Divergent is seeking a skilled and motivated Structures Engineer II to support the next generation of aerospace vehicle development. The role supports structural engineering and product development activities across aerospace programs, contributing to design, analysis, and testing efforts. The engineer will help develop vehicle structural systems using new materials and technologies, in alignment with Divergent’s DAPS manufacturing platform, which uses 3D-printed metal connectors called Nodes™ and lightweight materials to create complex structures.

The position involves maintaining CAD and finite element models and engineering documentation; supporting structural analysis, validation, prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting; collaborating with manufacturing and design teams; and implementing engineering changes. The job is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of structural engineering experience.
• CAD experience.
• Familiarity with finite element analysis tools and aerospace structures.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

• Siemens NX experience.

Responsibilities
