About The Position
Perform precise welding work using hand welding equipment, with proficiency in welding processes for both structural and process pipe applications. The stated experience level is intermediate.
Responsibilities
- Set up, troubleshoot, and operate welding machines according to job specifications and welding procedures.
- Preheat and weld metal components according to blueprints, welding symbols, job specifications, or welding procedures.
- Weld using FCAW-S, FCAW-G, TGAW, GMAW, SMAW, and SAW processes.
- Operate air arc gougers, grinders, stress-relieving machines, and other industry machines, tools, and equipment.
- Make welding repairs and address substandard welds.
