About The Position

BOLZONI AURAMO Inc. is seeking a Structural Welder to perform various manufacturing tasks including milling, turning, drilling, taping, de-burring, molding, and all bench operations. The role involves working from process instructions, sketches, blueprints, and shop orders, and checking parts using various measuring instruments. The welder will be accountable for quality inspections before and after welding, setting up and operating welding machines, and ensuring the quality of weld work performed. This includes adjusting machine settings for quality welds and assisting in the welding process of cylinder manufacturing using both robotic and hand welding skills. The company is building a pool of structural welders, and positions will be awarded based on seniority after successfully completing a weld test. Some travel may be required.

Requirements

High School diploma or G.E.D. required
Welding Certification required
Must be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift.
Must be able to complete a weld test to qualify for this position.
Must be certified or have a welding background and pass the welding certification test.

Responsibilities

Perform milling, turning, drilling, taping, de-burring, molding, and all bench operations.
Work from process instructions, sketches, blueprints, and shop orders.
Check parts using various types of measuring instruments.
Perform quality inspections before and after welding.
Set up and operate welding machines.
Ensure the quality of weld work performed.
Set speeds, feed, and temperature controls, locate work fixtures, and adjust machines to maintain quality welds.
Assist in the welding process of cylinder manufacturing utilizing robotic and hand welding skills.
Identify weld quality.
