Requirements

• Must have CWB All positions (SMAW, FCAW, GMAW)
• Certified Journeyperson or Registered Apprentice.
• 2-5 years of structural fitting experience.
• CSTS 2020 & WHMIS required.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be capable of physical labour.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural welding using Flux Core (FCAW) processes
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings
• Fabricate, fit, and weld structural steel components safely and accurately
• Complete welds to CWB standards and company quality requirements
• Operate grinders, torches, overhead cranes, and shop equipment as required
• Inspect completed welds for quality and compliance
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
• Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced industrial setting
• Follow all site safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
• Support shop production deadlines and overtime requirements when needed
