Structural Welder/Fitter
About The Position
Helix Resources is seeking experienced Structural Welders/Fitters for a new construction project in New Iberia, Louisiana. The role involves structural welding and fitting, working from blueprints and technical drawings, and assembling structural components to project specifications. Candidates must be capable of Flux Core welding and must pass an in-house welding certification based on company procedures. Pay is $32.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with weekends as needed. Required documents are a valid photo ID and a Social Security Card or Birth Certificate.
Requirements
- Must be 6GR capable.
- Strong structural welding and fitting experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and prints.
- Experience with Flux Core welding.
- Must successfully pass an in-house welding certification based on company procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural welding using Flux Core welding processes.
- Fit and assemble structural components according to blueprints and project specifications.
- Read and interpret prints to ensure accurate fit-up and fabrication.
- Perform structural welding on new construction projects.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
