Requirements

  • Superior level layout and math skills.
  • Complete understanding of pre-heat functions.
  • Must pass all F.A.C.W. (Flux Core) – 3G tack tests.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety by working in compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and procedures.
  • Attention to detail and precision.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to set up and use track torch is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Laying out, positioning, aligning, and fitting together fabricated parts according to blueprint and layout specifications.
  • Operating overhead cranes.
  • Using cutting and heating torches properly.
  • Performing complex heat corrections.
  • Checking camber and sweep tolerances of beams and steel shapes, and making necessary corrections while adhering to pertinent codes and specifications.
  • Producing finished products that meet recognized standards, codes, and customer expectations by maintaining quality procedures and practices.
  • Setting up complex jigs or assemblies.
  • Identifying and correcting potential hazards.
  • Interpreting complex documents.
  • Performing daily cleaning and maintenance of your work area.
  • Maintaining a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating in an effective manner with co-workers, clients, and supervisors.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to safety by working in compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring that the fabricated parts are accurately positioned and aligned according to blueprint and layout specifications to meet the highest quality standards.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
