About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Fabricator for a steel fabrication facility. The fabricator will fabricate, assemble, and weld structural steel components according to blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings. The role requires attention to detail, knowledge of steel fabrication processes, and proficiency in using hand and power tools. The position is paid $22–$28 per hour plus a 15% shift differential. The regular schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.; the employee must be able to train on first shift for 2–4 weeks.

Requirements

• Experience in structural steel fabrication or a related field.
• Experience working in a job shop environment rather than production.
• Proficiency in MIG welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and work independently.
• Familiarity with steel fabrication tools and machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in a shop environment.

Nice To Haves

• TIG welding experience.
• Stick welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Cut, shape, and assemble steel components using saws, torches, and welding equipment.
• Operate machinery such as shears, press brakes, and drill presses.
• Weld and fit structural steel according to project requirements.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Follow company safety protocols and industry standards.
