Structural Revit Technician

About The Position
As a Structural Revit Technician, you’ll play a vital role in producing accurate and high-quality Revit models and construction documents. This role involves developing detailed drawings, sketches, sections, and details in Revit, collaborating with structural engineers, and coordinating with architectural and MEPFP systems. The technician will ensure compliance with company drafting standards and project requirements, communicate effectively with project teams and clients, and participate in interdisciplinary coordination and review of shop drawings.
Requirements
- Associate degree in drafting, engineering technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in structural drafting/modeling using Revit
- Strong understanding of building systems and construction practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience using AutoCAD is also desired
- Familiarity with Navisworks and Bluebeam (preferred)
- A collaborative mindset (both in-person and virtually to support our service line function across 3 geographic locations) and a commitment to high-quality work
- Ability to visualize and model structural systems accurately in a BIM environment
- Understanding of how structure interacts with architectural and MEPFP systems
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- A continuous improvement mindset and an interest in contributing to the Service Line’s BIM/CAD committee
