About The Position

Ensure the integrity, compliance, and quality of structural components within our manufacturing plant. Responsible for inspecting materials, components, and processes to verify adherence to industry standards, engineering specifications, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with production teams and quality assurance personnel to identify defects, recommend corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Perform inspections on structural components and materials to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards. Conduct dimensional checks, visual inspections, and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods as needed. Document inspection results, deviations, and corrective actions in reports and records. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality concerns and improve structural integrity. Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive measures to address defects. Monitor manufacturing processes for adherence to quality control procedures and industry regulations. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements. Maintain inspection tools and equipment in optimal working condition. Support audits, certifications, and regulatory compliance initiatives related to structural quality. Provide recommendations for process improvements and risk mitigation strategies.

Requirements

  • Validated experience in structural inspection or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, industry codes, and material properties.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT), welding inspection, or fabrication analysis is a plus.
  • Certification in quality or inspection fields (e.g., AWS CWI, ASQ CQI, or equivalent) preferred
