Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs; push/pull to operate pallet jack.
  • Ability to read and interpret: Engineering drawings and GD&T Specifications and internal procedures
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 or similar aerospace quality standards
  • Proficiency with common inspection tools and measurement techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Basic computer skills (ERP systems, inspection databases, Microsoft Office)

Responsibilities

  • Review supplier documentation including: Certificates of Conformance, certificates from suppliers, test reports and special process approvals
  • Verify compliance with engineering drawings and specifications, purchase order requirements, and industry standards (AS9100D, ISO 9001, FAA requirements, as applicable)
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as: calipers, micrometers, Thread gauges
  • Perform visual inspections for damage, workmanship, and surface finish
  • Identify nonconforming material and initiate nonconformance reports (NCRs)
  • Clearly document inspection results in quality systems or inspection reports
  • Communicate inspection issues with Quality, Purchasing, Engineering, and Production teams
  • Maintain inspection records in accordance with quality system and regulatory requirements
  • Support audits (internal, customer, FAA, and third‑party)
  • Follow all safety, quality, and procedural requirements
  • Accurately update inventory records in the company’s ERP system immediately upon receipt.
  • Investigate and resolve Receiving related issues.
  • Maintain records for all inbound receipts per documented processes as well as non conforming product, purchase order, or damaged shipments.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers and logistics providers for timely deliveries.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisors, other staff, and customers.
  • Operating forklift to load/unload trucks.
