About The Position
A design firm that specializes in architecture, interiors, engineering, and planning is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to support the growth of their expanding structural practice by delivering innovative design solutions and leading multidisciplinary collaboration at their Sacramento office.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Active PE license
- 6–10 years of structural engineering experience across commercial, industrial, or advanced technology projects
- Strong working knowledge of ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, and construction document coordination
Responsibilities
- Lead structural projects from conceptual planning through construction administration
- Coordinate closely with architects, MEP, civil engineers, and consultants
- Perform gravity and lateral analysis using applicable building codes
- Mentor entry-level engineers and help guide team deliverables
- Partner with department leadership on strategy and project execution
