About The Position

Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Entry Level Structural & Mechanical Testing Engineer to join our Test & Evaluation teams in Tukwila, WA and Everett, WA. This engineer will play a vital role in developing test plans and procedures, designing test hardware, and conducting structural tests to ensure that company products and services comply with customer, regulatory, and company requirements. In this position, you will design, develop, and integrate test systems, as well as design test hardware, software, and systems to achieve comprehensive test requirements that encompass the full spectrum of testing. You will review and validate test data, preparing and publishing detailed test reports. Additionally, you will conduct research in test technologies to improve efficiency and capability, while interfacing with other members of project or program teams, management, and technical staff to define and implement effective test engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in structural and mechanical engineering, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. A self-motivated individual with a sense of urgency and a commitment to taking ownership of projects will thrive in this role.

Requirements

Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

Nice To Haves

Experience in structural design, analysis, and/or testing
Experience with CATIA, SolidWorks, or a similar CAD program
Experience in project management
Experience working in a dynamic, multidisciplinary organization

Responsibilities
