Job Description: We welcome rising college juniors, and seniors to apply for our 2026 summer internship position! Our internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work on real projects under licensed and experienced engineers.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering as a rising junior or senior.
  • Accepts direction and supervision well
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

Nice To Haves

  • ACAD/Revit experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Work with licensed engineers to develop skills and knowledge
  • Use computer software to perform structural engineering calculations
  • Attend project site visits and an in-depth review of the precast concrete manufacturing process at a local precast concrete manufacturer.
  • Work with structural engineers to coordinate requirements
  • Assist in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, studies, permits and designs for assigned projects
  • Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents
  • Operate engineering software to solve specific problems, and input the data required by the program
  • Familiarize self with state-of-the-art design and various state and local regulations
  • Other duties as assigned
