About The Position
AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Bridges and Civil Structures Team. This is an entry-level position in Tampa, FL. Your role will involve performing design calculations for bridges and civil structures, supporting senior engineers by preparing reinforcement lists, quantity take-offs, and redlines, completing technical training courses for career development, and participating in the Quality Control process for design and plan development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering required.
- E.I. or E.I.T. required.
- Ability to perform fundamental checks from AASHTO LRFD related to moment, shear, deflection, and stress.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s of Science in Structural Engineering is preferred.
- 0-2 years of related civil engineering experience is preferred.
- 3D analysis is preferred.
- Experience with FDOT MathCAD templates is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform design calculations for bridges and civil structures.
