The Role We have an opportunity for Building Envelope Engineer for our Restoration & Renewal Practice. We are looking for a candidate with experience in building envelope design, building envelope evaluations, and/or property loss consulting. This will include all aspects of building envelopes including below grade conditions, opaque walls, glazed assemblies, and roof systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with existing buildings for renovation and extensions.
• Hold or working towards a Professional Engineer (PE) and/or RA License.
• Ability and willingness to travel

Responsibilities

• Completing building envelope analysis and repair rehabilitation design of building envelope systems.
• Coordination of design work with in-house staff as well as other consultants including Architects and other Engineering disciplines, Cost Consultants, and Contractors.
• Projects will be in building envelope repair, renovation, demolition and expansions of current buildings.
