About The Position

We are seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
  • 2+ years of structural engineering experience.
  • An advanced understanding of relevant building codes, materials, and standards.
  • Enthusiasm and desire to succeed and develop technical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills are required, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail, logical problem-solving skills, and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for steel design and growing professional knowledge and skills in steel construction.
  • Diploma/Certificate.
  • American Citizenship/Legally able to work in the United States of America.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
  • PE certification.
  • Software skills with any of the following: Ram Connection, RISA Connection, Excel, Idea Statica, BlueBeam, Trimble Connect and Revit.

Responsibilities

  • Structural analysis for delegated steel connection design projects.
  • Steel connection design.
  • Miscellaneous steel design.
  • Erection engineering.
  • Calculation development.
  • Steel shop drawing reviews.
  • Submittal preparation.
  • RFI development.
  • New calculation development to enhance efficiencies.
  • Review 3-D BIM models to aid in building design, connection design and shop drawing reviews.
