About The Position

An industry leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer for their Pittsburgh team! This role involves project and client management, business development including proposal preparation and contract administration, and managing the design process. The engineer will utilize technical expertise on local and national building codes and design practices, and supervise staff. Responsibilities include designing new building structures, alterations, renovations, and additions, preparing structural assessment reports, and performing design and detailing for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures using calculations and computer modeling. The role also requires managing and coordinating projects, performing site reviews, and providing construction administration services during the construction phase, ensuring designs meet QA/QC standards and attending client meetings.

Requirements

Bachelorâ€™s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
8+ years of Structural Design Experience
Working knowledge of structural analysis/design software (REVIT, RISA 3D, RISA Floor, ADAPT)
Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

Master's degree preferred
PE License preferred
