About The Position

AgriSteel, a division of Bayland Buildings, Inc., is seeking a Structural Engineer to be responsible for the engineering and design of Metal Building packages for the fabrication of Commercial and Agricultural projects. The role involves working closely with sales to aid in project estimating. Specific building types include custom design and Metal Building Software (MBS), secondary structures, and sheeting. The company will provide training in building-specific software systems, including MBS. The successful candidate will be proficient in verbal and written communication, computer literate with MS Office and BlueBeam, and capable of managing workloads with deadlines. Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit is beneficial but not required. Prior knowledge of MBS is a plus but not required. The engineer will report to the VP AgriSteel and collaborate regularly with sales, engineering, and fulfillment teams. Duties include engineering, design, and the generation of fabrication and erection drawings. Project management and estimating may also be part of the role.

Requirements

Well versed in verbal and written communications.
Fluent with computers, including specific experience with MS office and BlueBeam at a minimum.
Great attention to detail.
Able to manage workloads that require deadlines.
Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering.

Nice To Haves

Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
Prior knowledge of MBS.
Experience in a related field as a CAD systems operator, Engineering Specialist, Civil Engineering Technician, Engineer CAD tech or Estimator/Project Manager.
