About The Position
EnTech Engineering, PC is a multidisciplinary engineering and construction management firm devoted to delivering best-in-class design and construction support services for infrastructure and facility projects that strengthen communities nationwide. Based in New York City, our firm is made of engineers, technologists, environmental scientists, construction professionals, and consultants who are passionate about improving the infrastructure, buildings, and communities that surround us. EnTech is seeking a full-time “Structural Engineer” to support infrastructure projects through planning, analysis, and design development. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with project teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of structural design experience
- Experience with structural analysis and design development
- Familiarity with applicable codes and standards
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, AutoCAD/MicroStation
- Valid driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- NYS Professional Engineer (PE) license or working toward licensure
- Experience with infrastructure projects and cost estimating
Responsibilities
- Support planning and scope development for projects
- Perform site visits to assess structural conditions
- Review reports, drawings, and as-built documents
- Develop conceptual designs for structural modifications
- Perform structural calculations and analyses
- Prepare drawings, reports, and cost estimates
- Coordinate with project teams and participate in meetings
