Structural Engineer
About The Position
DH Glabe & Associates is seeking a well-qualified Structural Engineer to join their team. This role involves working remotely and offers variety in project types within the structural engineering field. The ideal candidate will have experience in the structural design and investigation of heavy civil structures and/or large commercial structures. Responsibilities include design, engineering, drafting, client relations, project inspections, and site meetings, managing projects from inception to completion. The role is primarily design-focused, with approximately 60% engineering & calculations, 30% drafting, and 10% field/site visits.
Requirements
- Civil/Structural or related Engineering degree from an accredited institution
- 2+ years minimum post-graduation experience working for a professional engineering firm (this does not mean internships)
- E.I. or P.E.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD 2016 or later version
- Experience with Risa 2D/3D or similar
Nice To Haves
- Solidworks or similar FEA experience
Responsibilities
