About The Position

We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our Engineering Design Organization. As a graduate Structural Engineer, you will assist with the engineering design, evaluation and implementation of structures associated with water and wastewater infrastructure, industrial, property and building, and government/department of defense projects. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in assisting engineers by performing the routine aspects for engineering assignments, performing design calculations, sketches and technical comparisons, reviewing and editing project specifications, preparing and editing designs and drawings recommended by Project Engineers, preparing portions of project documents, researching code and regulatory requirements, researching design options, component specifications and documenting findings for Project Engineers and Job Manager, responding to contractor’s questions and preparing alternate designs as needed under the guidance of Project Engineers, and performing analysis and design retrofit of new and existing utilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
  • 0-2 years of structural engineering experience
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree is a plus
  • Engineering In Training (EIT) certification preferred
  • internship experience is a plus
  • Revit knowledge a plus
  • Knowledge of modeling and design software as applicable

Responsibilities

  • Assisting Engineers by performing the routine aspects for engineering assignments
