Structural Engineer
About The Position
DH Glabe & Associates is looking for a well-qualified structural engineer to join their team. This role involves working remotely and offers variety in project types within the structural engineering field. The position requires a candidate experienced in structural design and investigation of heavy civil structures and/or large commercial structures. Responsibilities include design, engineering, drafting, client relations, project inspections, and site meetings, managing projects from inception to completion. The work breakdown is approximately 60% engineering & calculations, 30% drafting, and 10% field/site visits.
Requirements
- Civil/Structural or related Engineering degree from an accredited institution
- 2+ years minimum post-graduation experience working for a professional engineering firm (internships do not count)
- E.I. or P.E.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD 2016 or later version
- Experience with Risa 2D/3D or similar
Nice To Haves
- Solidworks or similar FEA experience
Responsibilities
