About The Position

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to perform structural engineering analysis and coordinate detailed design for steel, concrete, and foundation systems. This role involves developing structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports, while applying applicable codes and standards. The engineer will coordinate structural designs with other disciplines and provide support during the construction phase. Minimal field time and/or travel is expected, but may be required at times.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• 0+ Years of experience (Engineer I) or 2-5+ Years of experience (Engineer II)
• Design experience or courses in structural steel and/or concrete design
• Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Experience using the following software required: AutoCAD, RISA-3D, STAAD Pro, Mathcad, L-Pile, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and Excel
• Experience with industry standards such as: ASCE 7, IBC, AISC and ACI

Nice To Haves

• EIT certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform Structural engineering analysis and coordinate detailed design for steel, concrete, and foundation systems
• Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
• Apply applicable codes and standards including ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, and ACI
• Coordinate structural designs with civil, geotechnical, mechanical, piping, electrical, and process disciplines
• Aide senior engineers in support of large facility projects
• Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction phase support
