About The Position

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Structural Engineer to provide customer-oriented design and construction services to clients nationwide. This role offers great growth potential and is located in one of the following cities: Austin or Frisco, TX; Greenwood Village, CO (Denver Tech Center), Phoenix, AZ; or Salt Lake City, UT.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, with emphasis in structures
3 - 7 years of structural engineering experience
Experience with design and construction administration of building structures, preferably both new construction and renovation of existing structures
Experience designing with common construction materials: steel, concrete, masonry and/or wood
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment that can manage and contribute to several projects simultaneously
Leadership qualities with ability to teach/train others

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, with emphasis in structures
Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure preferred
Revit proficiency preferred

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems
Develop construction documents and provide construction administration services
Perform site visits, client meetings and coordination with the project team
Participate in business development and client-facing activities
