About The Position

Structural Engineer to provide engineering and technical support for ongoing and future C-130 aircraft structural systems.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree and/ or Masters in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
  • Must have and maintain an active Secret Clearance
  • 1-3 years of directly related Mechanical Engineering experience.
  • Must have C-130 experience.
  • Must be knowledgeable in the Mechanical Engineering principles.
  • Must have experience in performing structural analysis, and have an understanding of aircraft structural properties, in new or modified aircraft, including navigation, cargo, and engine system design requirements.
  • Must have experience in the development of technical reports, and the ability to develop comprehensive and accurate technical data documents.
  • Must be able to interpret input for Air Force Technical Data Packages, Technical Orders and aircraft mechanical modification drawings and designs from various OEMs and in various formats.

  • Aerospace/Mechanical Theory, Maintenance Practices, Modification, and Operations
  • Engineering IT Tools and Databases/System
