About The Position

As a Professional Engineer on our team, you will perform structural calculations and prepare construction documents for a wide variety of challenging projects. You should have a strong knowledge of mechanics of materials, wood design, reinforced concrete, steel, and masonry design. You must have a good understanding of, and the ability to read and interpret structural calculations and construction drawings.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of mechanics of materials, wood design, reinforced concrete, steel, and masonry design
• Good understanding of, and the ability to read and interpret structural calculations and construction drawings
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Concentration
• Registered as a Professional Engineer
• Able to both lead and collaborate effectively in a team-based environment
• Strong commitment to delivering outstanding design solutions and exceptional client service
• Excellent organization and communication skills and the ability to multi-task efficiently

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of RAM, RISA, Revit and Enercalc is preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop full construction documents (drawing and specifications) for complex structural systems and renovation projects
• Perform site observations for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures
• Write clear and concise reports
• Assist in the training and professional development of EIT's
• Effectively communicate within TSP's multidisciplinary system of architects & engineers along with building owners, property managers, and contractors
• Keep updated on applicable engineering codes, standards, and regulations
• Champion TSP
