About The Position

AECOM is seeking a Structural Engineer to be based in our Boston, MA office. This position will perform site visits to observe and report on construction activities and address field questions as well as coordinate design and construction issues. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for performing specific and moderate portions of broader assignments, gathering and correlating basic engineering data, working on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests, proposing approaches to solve new problems, identifying discrepancies in results, performing work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule with little supervision, and independently performing all tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works. Must be able to perform site visits to observe and report on construction activities and address field questions as well as coordinate design and construction issues.

Requirements

  • BS in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering or related discipline plus two (2) year of relevant experience in structural design of buildings and transportation structures or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education
  • Must have either ETABS or SAP, Revit, and Microsoft Excel experience to qualify for this position
  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Masters in Structural Engineering

Responsibilities
