Structural Engineer
About The Position
An industry leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer for their Tampa, Florida team! This role involves project and client management, business development including proposal preparation and contract administration, and managing the design process. The engineer will utilize technical expertise on local and national building codes and design practices, supervise staff, and design new building structures, alterations, renovations, and additions. Responsibilities also include preparing structural assessment reports, performing design and detailing (calculations and computer modeling for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures), managing projects, and conducting site reviews and construction administration services. Ensuring designs meet QA/QC standards and attending client meetings are also key aspects of this position.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of Structural Design Experience
- Working knowledge of structural analysis/design software (REVIT, RISA 3D, RISA Floor, ADAPT)
- Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree preferred
- PE License preferred
