About The Position

DH Glabe & Associates is seeking a Structural Engineer to join its team. The position is remote, with the employee working from an office near or in the city where the job listing is posted. The role offers varied work across structural engineering project types and niches. Experience in structural design and investigation of heavy civil structures and/or large commercial structures is preferred.

This is primarily a design engineering position, with work divided approximately into 60% engineering and calculations, 30% drafting, and 10% field or site visits. The engineer will handle projects from inception to completion, including design, engineering, drafting, client relations, project inspections, and site meetings.

DH Glabe & Associates is an established and growing structural and construction engineering firm founded in 1985. Its expertise is primarily in engineering temporary and unique structures for infrastructure, commercial, and industrial projects. The firm serves clients throughout the United States and internationally.

Requirements

• Civil/Structural Engineering or a related engineering degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 2 years of post-graduation experience working for a professional engineering firm; internships do not count toward this requirement.
• E.I. or P.E. credential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2016 or a later version.
• Experience with Risa 2D/3D or similar software.

Nice To Haves

• Experience performing structural design and investigation of heavy civil structures and/or large commercial structures.
• Solidworks or similar finite element analysis (FEA) experience.
